Marina del Este

In January 2025, Marina del Este was declared a Natural Reserve, enhancing its appeal to divers. The bay features diverse dive sites suitable for all experience levels, from beginners to advanced divers. Divers can explore depths ranging from 8 to 25 meters, encountering schools of sardines, octopuses, nudibranchs, and the elusive Mola Mola (sunfish). The underwater landscape includes fascinating rock formations and swim-throughs, adding to the adventure. 

La Herradura

Adjacent to Marina del Este, La Herradura Bay is renowned for its clear waters and rich marine biodiversity. The area boasts spectacular underwater grottos, home to unique species rarely found at such shallow depths. Dive sites like Piedra del Hombre and Cueva Jarro offer depths from 6 to 20 meters, teeming with bream, moray eels, and vibrant coral formations.

Best Time to Dive

Summer in Marina del Este offers ideal diving conditions with water temperatures between 22-26°C and excellent visibility of up to 30 meters. Early morning and late afternoon dives provide the best chances to spot marine life.
